What Should I Have Thought Through Before Contacting You?
You should have a general idea of:
What dates you want to travel
How many nights (not days) you have for your trip
How many people are traveling, their ages and interests
What the rooming configuration will be.
For example: we are 3 couples who want to travel to Spain for 12 nights, sometime between May 1, and May 18, we want one room for each couple all with king-sized beds.
How Far in Advance Should I Book My Trip?
When it comes to planning trips of a lifetime, the more advanced time, the better the trip turns out. Most of our clients contact us 6-9 months ahead of when they want to travel. That being said, we have successfully planned very complicated trips with as little as 48 hours notice.
What Identification And Travel Documents Do I Need?
You will certainly need a passport that will remain valid for at least six months after your trip concludes. Visas and other travel documents vary according to the nationality of your passport and the destination you’ll be visiting.
Do I Need Travel Insurance?
Yes! We do not provide any refunds. How Much Will My Trip Cost?
There are a lot of variables that affect the cost of any trip: The number of people traveling, whether you want a 5-star hotel, what experiences you want, etc…That’s why we begin with a conversation to get on the same page. Then, if you are seriously interested in booking with us, we’ll send you a price quote.
How Much Does a Phone Consultation Cost?
We are happy to provide a free 15-20 minute consultation. After we speak, if you are seriously considering booking with us, we’ll send you a quote.A quote is not the same as an itinerary. A quote is a brief outline of the bullet points of your trip that we talked about during your consultation, with a total price.
What is Included in the Trip Price?
Typically our trip costs include nightly lodgings, daily breakfasts, all activities costs like expert guides and entry fees, daily transportation to get you around to your activities, and transportation between destinations.
What’s NOT Included in The Trip Cost?
International flights, Visas, meals other than breakfasts, tips and gratuities, and hotel extra charges like room service, mini-bar, or laundry, are usually not included in our trip price.
Do You Accept Credit Card Payments?
We accept credit card payments for all our destinations EXCEPT CUBA. Credit card payments for travel to Cuba are not possible due to restrictions imposed by US economic sanctions.We offer a 3% discount for all payments by Zelle, bank transfer, cashier’s check, and ACH.

Yes. Cosmopolitours is a member of ASTA, IATAN, and the Global Sustainable Tourism Council.
Can I Get a Sample Itinerary?
Not generally. Our itineraries require hours and hours of hard work and coordination, and are filled with our exclusive copyrighted content. We don’t give them out for free.Sometimes in special cases, at our own discretion, we’ll provide a redacted itinerary from a past trip that might be similar to yours, so that you can get an idea of the level of care and detail that we put into planning each and every trip.
Do I Need to Book My Own Flights?
Yes, you’ll book your own international flights to and from whatever country you’ll be visiting. Your in-country transportation, including flights, will be booked by us.
Can I Make My Own Hotel Reservations?
No. After years of experience, we have found that we need to arrange our clients’ lodgings. We have a lot of specific knowledge about where to stay to be convenient for your movements and for your comfort, even down to which rooms we prefer to avoid noise. We have relationships with the staff and management of the properties we use that give our clients a huge personalized service advantage.When planning your tailor made trip, we’ll discuss lodging options to fit your budget and lifestyle.
Can I Just Book A Few of Your Tours and Experiences?
No. Our original tours and experiences are extremely limited in availability and are exclusively accessible to Cosmopolitours clients only.
