Founded in 2012 by spouses Anthony Rubenstein and Mayret Gonzalez Rubenstein, Cosmopolitours is owned and operated along with a tight knit group of family and friends.
We come from the worlds of the Arts, Food, Fashion, Design, and Music. We are, DJ’s, Dancers, Artists, Architects, Writers, Photographers and Philosophers (yes, really). There’s even a nuclear physicist in the mix. Our IATA accreditation demonstrates that we are also travel logistics and management pros. We combine our insider cultural knowledge with our IATA-accredited travel professional know-how to plan flawless vacations.
We are dedicated to the quality of our trips, not the quantity. We have the accredited pro travel experience and infrastructure to make our trips flow flawlessly, while we still maintain the one-to-one hands-on touch with our clients that bigger agencies fail to deliver.
Meet Mayret & Tony
Mayret, a Cuban art historian, brings her deep cultural insight and curatorial expertise to Cosmopolitours. She has published books on contemporary art, curated numerous exhibitions, and spent the past decade specializing in creating immersive cultural travel experiences. Anthony Rubenstein (Tony) combines a diverse background as a Hollywood executive, professional screenwriter, clean energy activist, and entrepreneur. Having traveled to 45 countries and lived in Switzerland, France, Cuba, Mexico, and China, Tony’s global perspective and passion for culture enrich every journey they curate. Together, they craft unforgettable, culturally enriched travel experiences.

Each of our trips is handcrafted by us for each client. Every vacation we create is specially designed specifically for each client’s personal interests, lifestyle, and budget. Even third party services that we do contract, like hotels or ground transportation, are carefully screened personally by us.

We treat your vacation time as precious, more precious in fact, than the money you invest in a trip.
In most cases our clients plan a trip with us for months in advance, maybe having saved-up those vacation days for years. With a big corporate agency, or if it’s a DIY trip, when something goes wrong, like the airline cancels a flight, or a car gets a flat tire, you might later be able to get a refund from the airline (good luck with that). But you can never recover your vacation time.
We appreciate that you put your trust in to us. We expect ever trip to go off flawlessly, after all they’re paying us for perfect. But every once in awhile the unexpected happens-may be a car gets a flat tire. Our commitment to you is to personally efficiently and effectively react at the rare moments something unexpectedly goes wrong, and get your vacation back on track as soon as possible.
